What information do we need?
The information we need includes your name, E-mail address, mailing address, telephone numbers, credit card number with expiry date and if you choose, your bank account details. This information enables us to meet your needs as an independent business.
How do we collect the data?
You are in control of what information we collect from you. We do this mainly through the Nikken Distributor Application Form that you are asked to fill in and sign when joining Nikken. If you choose not to share some of your information, all the functionality of the site may not be available to you.
How do we use the data?
Your mailing address is used to enable us to send you the products that you have ordered as well as any marketing information i.e. the Nikken magazine. We would use your telephone numbers and E-mail address in cases where we may need to contact you regarding your order or your distributorship. Your credit card details are used to process your orders. Your bank details will only be used to pay you any commissions.
What is Nikken's disclosure policy?
We do not sell Distributor names or other private profile information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. While we may provide statistics to outside companies about our Distributors (including sales and related site information), Nikken will not include any personally identifying information. At present, Nikken centralises its records of personal information for all Nikken operations in the United States for the purposes of Nikken business. For product delivery purposes and other goods mailed to you, Nikken will give your mailing address and possibly telephone numbers to courier and mailing companies. Occasionally Nikken will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as contest entry processing and will provide information for these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement and is to be used solely for completing the specific project.
How do we protect your information?
We make sure that each online communication with our Distributors meets our high standards of privacy and security. We do this by using a secure server with software that encrypts all of our confidential information before you send it to us. We only encrypt traffic where we are asking for credit card information whilst transmitting it back to the web server. Because we switch in and out of secure (encrypted) mode, some browsers will give a warning when we switch back to a non-secure page. By the time this happens, any credit card data has already been transmitted. In addition, we take strong measures to protect all Distributor's data against unauthorised access.
Cookies

These cookies allow us to recognise each returning customer and their relevant information so that you do not need to input the same information more than once.
