This patented, exclusive combination of technologies acts to reduce the level of chemicals and contaminants that may be present in water - including chlorine, which is vaporised in a shower, inhaled, and enters the bloodstream. Copper-zinc granules are employed in a redox process (oxidation/reduction electron exchange) to neutralise chlorine in shower water.
A significant amount of our daily exposure to chlorine occurs in the shower - absorbed via the skin and inhaled vapour that enters the bloodstream. And as a result Nikken’s PiMag Ultra Shower System has been developed to provide shower water the way nature intended.
The PiMag Ultra Shower System contains advanced REDOX filtration to help neutralise chlorine — without adding chemicals. NSF is a world leader in product testing and certification. The PiMag Ultra Shower System has been tested and certified by this agency against NSF/ANSI Standard 177 for the reduction of chlorine, with a service life of 22,700 litres.
The PiMag Ultra Shower System is registered and labelled in accordance with the Water Efficiency Labelling Standards (WELS) Scheme for the most efficient rating of 3 Stars. Independent testing showed usage of 7.7 L/min which is at the lower end of the 3 Star usage range of 7.5 but not more than 9 L/min.

The PiMag Ultra Shower System can be installed by the owner in accordance with directions in the operating Manual. Depending on the existing shower fittings, it may be necessary to visit a bathroom renovation plumbing supplier for appropriate gooseneck and/or other fittings to complete the installation.
The PiMag Ultra Shower System is covered by a 90 day warranty from date of purchase against faulty materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does not cover misuse, negligent handling and/or installation, and damage caused by attempted repair. The filter cartridge and replacement filter cartridges are excluded from the warranty.
