The Nikken Story

What is it that makes an individual, a visionary? Certainly it’s imagination, the ability to see, to envision what others cannot. But besides being people of great imagination, visionaries tend to see the world from a unique perspective. A broader more encompassing perspective.

Visionaries see not only the part; they see the whole. Visionaries can look beyond the trees and see the forest. And in deed this visionary perspective has powered one of the most dramatic successful stories of the 20th century. It is the story of a company called Nikken and the story begins with the company’s visionary founder, Mr Isamu Masuda.

"I have been a life long student of good health. This interest began as a result of a series of health problems I had in my childhood. In earlier days I didn’t understand the keys to good health and healthy living. I was an eager student. I learned a great deal from teachers and gradually over time I came to a greater understanding of health and wellness. Over time I developed a vision, a vision for total wellness.
